There were quite a few questions raised when Pokimane accidentally showed some adult content on a live stream. Potentially a pornhub video. Although Twitch gave her a warning but there were quite a few who thought that she should have been banned from the platform.
What Does Pokimane Say?
According to Pokimane, it was not something that she did deliberately and was just an accident. She said that
“It’s just that I’ve been streaming for so long that it’s not very frequent — or it’s not frequent enough to lead to a ban.”
Pokimane was again found explaining herself that if she was banned from the platform, she would have accepted it because she knew she had messed up before. However, she said that similar incidents happened with Twitch’s other users as well, and they were too not banned.
The Decision
All can agree that the incident was nothing more than just a mere mistake, but questions are still rising about the foul decision by Twitch. There also have been similar cases in the past where the streamer should have been banned from the platform but nothing of that sort happened.
The Alinity Incident
Remember Natalia “Alinity” flashed a boob on her live stream, and even she escaped the ban. So this happened in the past as well on Twitch, and users were not banned.
You can disagree with Twitch in banning a streamer or not but they reserve the right for it. Although they may not treat all the individuals equally in this regard, they still reserve all the rights.
Having said that, Twitch should also be very careful in such decisions as their foul decisions in such matters are not very popular among the people.

Now it is up to you to decide whether Twitch did right or wrong by not banning Pokimane for the incident. But the fact is that it reserves all the rights for making all such decisions, you may or may not agree with.
