Korean visual software production company Weaver Active Co., Ltd. wants to bring games with unique artworks for gamers worldwide. The company created a horror adventure PC game, KEEP OUT, in 2021.
KEEP OUT is a horror/mystery puzzle adventure game that takes place in fictional Devota Hill in the year 2044. Players take on the role of a wise and benevolent monarch toy ‘Mr. M’ as he unlocks the secrets of Devota Hill and HumathScience. The game is based on the idea that ordinary and common daily life things might come as a new horror to someone. In the conflict between humans, toys, and their fear together.
WEAVERACTIVE Co., Ltd. was established in 2020 to cater to various services like 3D modeling, rendering, VR & AR, product design, Videos and games. The founder Dong-Hyun was the winner of Worldskills Korea animation in 2010 and the Korean team leader of Worldskills 3D Digital Art.
WEAVERACTIVE is involved in making games targeting various genres and platforms with advanced next-gen graphics. The game startup is one of the recipients of the Epic MegaGrants program in 2020 and released its first game, “KEEP OUT,” through STEAM in 2021. ‘KEEP OUT’ gameplay videos on YouTube, Twitch, etc., have over 40 million views and sold over 3000 copies through STEAM.
The company has been selected for a government support program for two consecutive years. KBP (KEEP OUT: BLACK PROTEIN), which is currently being developed, is a spin-off game using the IP of “KEEP OUT” and is being developed as a TPS (third-person shooter) Roguelike in the nuclear and slush genre.
It is also developing “Orbisia: Dragon Island” on an open world base.As part of KOCCA’s South Korean game developers delegation, Weaver Active will attend the Gamescom 2022 in Germany in August 2022 and the Tokyo Games Show 2022 in September 2022.
