After a collaboration with the prominent Kpop group ENHYPEN, Pokémon has now invited Lay Zhang, a Chinese singer and member of the Kpop group EXO, to contribute music to the project. Pokémon Invites Chinese and Kpop Artist EXO Lay Zhang for a Fun Collaboration
There is no ending in the creative minds behind the giant gaming franchise Pokémon. As an effort to improve and broaden its market scope, Pokémon has been developing various collaboration projects, especially with the global music industry.
Previously, Pokémon held hands with numerous international singers and artists. The company invited Kpop group ITZY to promote their game, “Pokémon Legends: Archeus”, and collaborated with Ed Sheeran as the center artist of the “Celestial” track.
Today, Pokémon releases one more exciting collaboration with global celebrity Lay Zhang.
Lay Zhang is a Chinese singer and member of the prominent Kpop group EXO. He is a successful global celebrity both in group and solo activities and one of the most followed male Kpop idols on Instagram.
As the center artist for the Pokémon Music Collective project, Lay Zhang delivered an outstanding performance in the music video for their track, “Pokémon Party”.

The collaboration between Pokémon and EXO member Lay Zhang is a part of the Pokémon Music Collective. It is a project where Pokémon invites various musicians from around the world. Then, they would utilize sounds from the Pokémon franchise to create a beautiful and innovative song.
Earlier, Pokémon Music Collection joined hands with Japanese producer, Imase, as the first artist to collaborate with the project. Then, as the second center artist, Pokémon collaborated with Kpop 4th generation group, ENHYPEN. They released an exciting MV on July 11, named “One and Only”.
Finally, the prominent gaming franchise unveiled its latest collaboration with Lay Zhang, the third lineup artist for the Pokémon Music Collective, on August 4, titled “Pokémon Party”.

Along with the song, they have also released an official music video featuring EXO Lay Zhang and multiple Pokémon characters. Furthermore, the Chinese and Kpop singer seems to be having lots of fun with the Pokémon characters, including Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Charmander, and more. The Chinese singer spent joyful moments with the Pokémon characters, baking, cleaning, and dancing.
