Garena has released the Free Fire OB28 update Advance Server, a testing site to test the upcoming features that developers will release to garner general reaction and feedback from the players regarding the bugs and required improvements. Meanwhile, many streamers and players who have joined the server often leak out significant additions and changes in the game to increase the interest among the fans.
The OB28 update is no different from the previous ones, as many leaks regarding the new additions and optimizations have already started making their way to the social media platforms. The latter part of this article will discuss such leaks regarding the release date of the next update and additions in the game.
Release Date
The OB28 update will arrive globally after the Advance Server testing runs till June 3, 2021. As per the leaks, Free Fire OB28 update is expected to arrive on global servers between June 8 and June 10, 2021; however, Garena hasn’t confirmed any official date.
OB28 Advance Server Leaks
The new Advance Server will arrive with various additions and in-game changes, and some expected items can make a potential appearance in the OB28 Advance Server:
New Characters
Snowelle
Snowelle is not new to the game as developers also included the character in one previous Advance Server, OB25, but it didn’t make it to the global version. According to the in-game description, the character is a nanotech engineer with a passive ability called ‘Nano Nerves.’
‘Nano Nerves’ helps the character restrict the enemies from converting EP to HP and using the active skills within five seconds of getting hit by the Snowelle. The character has a cooldown duration of 30 seconds. The ability has six levels/stages in Free Fire.
Sverr
According to the game description, Sverr is a top-tier MMA Fighter, and just like Snowelle, it was a part of a previous Advance Server, OB24, and didn’t arrive in-game. Sverre has an active ability called ‘Going Berserk’ that allows the Sverre to 30 HP to trade damage of 20%. The ability can get an upgrade with in-game level-ups.
D-BEE
A brand new character D-BEE is described in-game as a street dancer and musician sporting a relatively modern funky look. The name of the passive ability the character possesses is ‘Bullet Strike,’ and the ability has three effects that help the players in increasing the movement speed, improving accuracy while moving, and reloading extra ammunition.
New Pet
Gorro
Gorro, if it arrives, will be the latest pet addition to the game, but no additional information has been revealed about the new pet. So, players will have to wait a little more to have a look at this new addition.
New Mechanism
Fire From Inside Vehicle
‘Fire From Inside Vehicle’ will be a new mechanism addition that will allow players to fire while being inside a vehicle which was not possible previously. Garena also revealed this feature in one of the previous trailers.
New Vehicles
Scooter
Scooter is another addition that players spotted in one of the Free Fire trailers, and it is highly expected that the scooter makes its way to the game via Free Fire OB28 update.
Boat
If recent leaks are believed, Free Fire’s Purgatory and Kalahari maps can feature a new vehicle, Boat, to cross water bodies. Much like the previous leaks, this one is also not confirmed.
New Weapons
Wichita MK-40
A Pistol gun is a decent weapon for medium-range fights; Wichita MK-40 is a powerful pistol that can arrive in Free Fire through OB28 Advance Server. Players also saw this gun in one of the Free Fire trailers previously.
Akimbo G-18
According to the leaks, OB28 can feature Akimbo G-18, which means players will doubly wield the Pistol G-18. Some other games have also featured the Akimbo Pistols, and it will be exciting to see this arrive in Free Fire.
Players need to remember that all the mentioned leaks may not arrive in OB28 Advance Server, or developers may not release them in Global servers.
