Riot Games announced the Pride event for League of Legends: Wild Rift during the release of the recent 2.2c version update. The Riot games have been highly vocal in support of the LGBTQIA+ community in the past. So, they have rolled out the new event of the famous Multiplayer Online Battle Arena game to support the community and players that belong to the community.
The event will include several rewards that will commemorate the Pride of the community. Players can participate in the event to earn rewards like in-game icons, cosmetics, emotes, and many additional rewards by completing a set of designated missions available in League of Legends: Wild Rift within the validity period of the Pride event. The event for a change
Apart from the message of togetherness and equality among all despite the significant differences, the Pride event of League of Legends: Wild Rift also paves a way to establish a protest against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia. Many players from other games, too, often face offensive homophobic slurs in matches and chatrooms. It is the events like these that will help to bring a change.
