KRAFTON, the South Korean gaming powerhouse, revealed at G-STAR 2023 its latest innovation – Dark and Darker Mobile, an exclusive mobile adaptation developed by their Bluehole Studio through a strategic global licensing deal with IRONMACE, promising a captivating RPG experience set to launch in 2024.
At the international gaming event in Busan, Rafael Lim, Senior Head of the Publishing Business Division at KRAFTON, said, “KRAFTON is thrilled to be able to debut Dark and Darker Mobile for the first time at G-STAR 2023.”
Dark and Darker Mobile invites players to choose from five distinct classes – Fighter, Barbarian, Ranger, Rogue, and Cleric – as they embark on daring journeys filled with hidden treasures and emergent gameplay opportunities.
The multiplayer game introduces a unique element – the Dark Swarm, a magnetic field compelling players and dangers closer together. Adventurers must locate an escape portal to ensure survival and preserve loot before succumbing to opponents or the encroaching Dark Swarm.
Global Licensing Deal and Optimization
In August, KRAFTON solidified its commitment to global gaming by securing an exclusive licensing deal with IRONMACE for the mobile adaptation of the Dark and Darker IP. This strategic move underscores KRAFTON’s dedication to showcasing Korean creativity on the world stage.
The game is meticulously tailored and optimized for mobile platforms, leveraging KRAFTON’s extensive experience in mobile gaming.
