Netmarble intends to use this test to evaluate various improvements based on user feedback. The test allows for survival mode and occupation mode battles in the Cagliostro area, and new content will be added to the official website in the future.
This game is a real-time battle royale game set in a futuristic city that Steam will officially support.
Previously, Netmarble announced that the alpha test for HypeSquad, the company’s Battle Royale TPS for Windows PC, would begin on June 20. The game was announced in April 2022.
During the Alpha testing period, players could try out two game modes: Survival Mode and Conquest Mode. While 3-player squads in Survival Mode can be played at any time, solo matches in Survival Mode and 3-player squads in Conquest Mode will be available based on the schedule of each regional server.
The game includes a diverse cast of characters, each with their background and motivations, as well as a variety of unique melee and ranged options from which players can create multiple weapon combinations.
Several items and upgrades are available to players on the field to help them perform better, such as support items and augmenters. Finally, Hype Squad’s interactive objects, such as zip lines and jump pads, add a layer of strategy for players to consider as they strive for victory on the battlefield.
