NCSoft is taking advantage of Aion Classic’s rumored success by collaborating with Gameforge to release the game’s pre-revamp version in Europe sometime in March.
On February 17, 2023, the development team hosted a live stream on Twitch to address queries regarding the fantasy multimedia online role-playing game’s (MMORPG) European release, based on a more refined and balanced version of the original game’s 1.9 release.
The important thing is to provide Aion fans and new players alike a start in Aion Classic; therefore, everything will start there.
There will be several possibilities for PvP as well. The PvE trip, which includes a number of challenging maps and instances and allows players to level up to 50, will be highlighted. For battles of that scale, take on Rifts, Dredgions, and Fortress Battles.
With AION Classic, players can return to the game’s origins and relive the conflict between the Elyos and Asmodians while battling the persistent threat posed by the Balaur that waits at the Abyss Gate’s entrance.
The Classic build designed for Europe will have fresh content
Gameforge, according to NCSoft, hopes that people in Europe will have the same unique adventures and recall why AION is so adored by players worldwide.
All MMORPG players can start afresh in the Atreian universe on the permanent server AION Classic, providing further balancing and quality-of-life enhancements.
Both new and experienced players can participate in the conflict between Elyos and Asmodians and explore the expansive and distinctive land of Atreia.
To maximize party activity and bring all AION Classic lovers together in one location, AION Classic Europe will initially function on a single worldwide server.
The AION Classic Europe server will be hosted in Germany, just like the standard AION servers, as it offers a convenient location for most European gamers.
The game will have original Korean voiceovers and be playable in English, French, and German. Like the current AION Live edition, support will be offered in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Polish.
The 2.0 upgrade will be applied to the European server first, then subsequent updates. Gameforge and NCSoft will continuously update AION Classic and add new content throughout this European release.
The game’s western release in 2021 was plagued with queues, pay-to-win and monetization problems, exploits, and bugs. Players are hoping that Gameforge’s version won’t experience the same issues.
