Seoul, Korea, has been chosen as the exciting backdrop for the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2024 grand finale. It will witness top teams accumulating championship points in regional Kickoff events, leading to the ultimate showdown in the Masters events and International Leagues, defining the path to Valorant glory.

Riot Games has introduced a revamped championship point system, adding an extra layer of strategy for teams vying to qualify for the prestigious Valorant World Championship.

In the League Stage, each win earns teams a valuable championship point, setting the stage for their journey. Regional Kickoff events are crucial battlegrounds where victorious teams bag 3 championship points, shaping their path to global recognition.

Masters Madrid is a Global Arena for Top-Performing Teams

Masters Madrid, the season’s first international LAN event, becomes the proving ground for teams emerging victorious in Kickoff events. Teams battle for additional championship points, propelling them closer to the coveted Valorant Champions 2024 qualification.

Masters Shanghai and the Road to Valorant Champions

Post-Masters Madrid, teams dive back into regional league play for Stage 1, pursuing more championship points and a shot at Masters Shanghai, the second international LAN event. Teams securing the most points in their regions claim spots for Valorant Champions 2024, while others enter Stage 2, competing for limited spots in Seoul, Korea.

Kickoff Tournament to Champions Seoul

The season commences with the Kickoff Tournament (Feb 16 – March 3), determining the top 8 teams advancing to Masters Madrid. This initial clash offers a glimpse into each International League’s prowess, setting the stage for an action-packed season.

Masters Shanghai and International Leagues

Masters Shanghai (May 23 – June 9) sees twelve qualified teams from Stage 1 in a two-week battle. The top 3 teams from each International League, identified in both Stage 1 and Stage 2 competitions, earn their spots in Valorant Champions 2024.

Champions Seoul and the Grand Finale in Asia

Seoul, Korea, takes center stage for Champions Seoul (Aug 1 – 25), hosting the top 16 teams globally in a three-week event to determine the coveted Valorant World Champion. This grand spectacle concludes the 2024 VCT season in style.

Featuring 44 elite teams across four International Leagues, the 2024 VCT season promises to be a landmark in esports history.

The revised championship point system adds a strategic layer to team qualifications, keeping fans engaged as the journey unfolds through the Kickoff Tournament, Masters events, and International League Stages, all culminating in the ultimate spectacle in Champions Seoul.
