There is probably no better way to demonstrate the explosive growth of esports in recent years than with the example of esports arenas sprouting up everywhere across the globe. It was shocking for people that esports events could sell out a space as massive as the Staples Center. Currently, the esports industry has grown so much that dedicated esports arenas are required to handle the action. In this article, we list down the top 5 esports arenas in the world.

1. Nexon Arena (Seoul, South Korea)

A prolific game publisher, Nexon’s catalog includes the FIFA Online games. Their arena is also SPOTV’s headquarters, a significant South Korean broadcast network, known for airing sports programs. It acquired the airing rights to LoL Champions Korea matches from OnGameNet in 2015. The esports arena can host 400 people. Major LoL, FIFA Online, Hearthstone, and Starcraft II tournaments take place here.

2. HyperX Esports Arena (Luxor Dr, Las Vegas)

This Esports Arena in Las Vegas is near the south side of the Vegas Strip, inside the Luxor casino and hotel.

The multilevel, 30,000-square-foot HyperX Esports Arena is built to host all kinds of competitive and professional gaming- from high-stakes esports events to daily play. It has a 500-foot LED wall for videos, a competition stage, console and PC gaming stations, telescopic seating, and a high-quality production studio. The comprehensive menu and elements such as retro consoles set the esports arena Las Vegas apart as the unparalleled entertainment experience for professional and casual gamers alike. HyperX Esports Arena is also perfect for non-gamers who only want a look inside what is rapidly becoming a popular spectator sport.

3. Esports Stadium (Arlington, Texas)

With a worth of 10 million dollars, Arlington’s Esports Stadium is the largest esports and gaming events facility located in North America. The 100,000 square-foot space is designed to serve the technologically advanced and unique demands of the gaming and esports industry. 

Located in Arlington, this stadium was specially built to cater to the specific requirements of esports tournaments. It can accommodate over 2000 fans. The venue has a 26-meters large screen on the competition stage as well as a dramatic lighting system. It also features a caster studio, an observer room, a data center, team rooms, players lounges, and a Grass Valley broadcast system.

4. Blizzard Arena (Burbank, CA)

Blizzard is the game publisher behind many of the enormous names in the esports industry. 

Blizzard’s esports arena situated in Burbank, California, is where a lot of the professional-level tournaments related to these games happen. 

It was previously a set for Johnny Carson’s The Tonight Show. It features a huge LED screen, an overhead halo display, as well as a television studio for match broadcasts and Blizzard’s content. the arena can accommodate up to 450 people. All Overwatch League teams also have their private practice rooms here.

5. OGN Esports Stadium (Seoul, South Korea)

Seoul is somewhat of a mecca for the esports industry. Apart from the Nexon Arena, it also has the OGN Esports Stadium. 

One of the biggest cable channels of South Korea owns this purposefully built space. A broad range of important esports events takes place in this facility. It boasts 80 gaming stations, a concession area, and light shows, among many other amenities.
