To celebrate the 6th anniversary of its global RPG hit The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross, Netmarble has launched a PvP update while adjusting the features of the new hero “King & Diane” with powerful new skills, the game-changing Dealbreak effect and refined Earth Fury mechanics to kick off exciting Grand Festival events that promise fresh challenges and rewards.
With the PvP update, Netmarble adds the Dealbreak effect. This game-changing feature prevents units from taking more than 50 percent damage in a single hit. This enhancement dramatically shifts battle outcomes, allowing King & Diane to survive brutal first-turn attacks from the meta-dominant Unknown decks. The new mechanic empowers strategic counterplay, especially for teams built around Fairies, Giants, and the Seven Deadly Sins heroes.
Before this update, the PvP community struggled to leverage King & Diane effectively beyond the first turn. Now, Dealbreak ensures resilience, helping the duo weather early-game barrages and launch devastating second-turn responses.
Earth Fury System Gets Tactical Refinement
To complement the Dealbreak effect, Netmarble has adjusted how Earth Fury stacks are consumed. Previously, enemies could erase the Wrath of the Fairy King by attacking any allied Fairy, Giant, or Seven Deadly Sins hero. Now, only direct hits to King & Diane reduce the stack, significantly increasing tactical depth.
Furthermore, the reworked skill Spuraut Destruction and special move Universal Judgment now deal enhanced damage. Enemies with maximum Earth Fury suffer +100 percent more damage, while those without the full stack take +30 percent. These additions make skill usage more effective, regardless of exact Fury levels.
Anniversary Festival Delivers Massive Rewards
To mark the 6th anniversary, Netmarble launched the Grand Festival events. These include the “Moments We Remember ~Root of Destiny” stage, the “Malek” boss parade, and two new battles: “Detective Zaratras” and “Tome and Lost Treasure.” Players can earn diamonds, artifact card packs, and abundant training materials.
The Grand Festival events cater to both veteran players and newcomers, offering opportunities to accelerate progress and test the new King & Diane build in real time. The update reinvigorates community interest and adds meaningful variety to the mobile RPG’s content ecosystem.
Thanks to this anniversary update, King & Diane now dominate battles with improved survivability and burst potential. The synergy between Dealbreak’s revised Earth Fury and reworked skills creates a compelling power curve. Netmarble has not only celebrated a milestone but has redefined the meta for a global player base eager for fresh competition and strategy.
In essence, this PvP update does more than fine-tune stats; it reinvents how players approach battles. As the global gaming community dives into the 6th-anniversary celebrations, one thing becomes clear: King & Diane are no longer on the sidelines.
