In the latest update from Nexon America, the action-packed free-to-play MMORPG Vindictus unveils its newest hero, Sou, known as the “Night Raven.” This master swordsman, celebrated for his unique combat style, brings a blend of speed and strength to the game, offering players a fresh and engaging experience on the battlefield.
Sou: The Night Raven Swordsman
Hailing from the east after triumphing over the Son of Heaven, Sou now graces the west with his presence, armed with dual swords – the Kodachi and Odachi.
These weapons are not merely for show; they enable Sou to execute rapid and powerful attacks, showcasing his prowess in a dynamic and strategic combat style. The signature move, “Shattered Sky,” adds a layer of versatility with its devastating effects.
Sou’s core skill, “Distant Horizon,” becomes a lethal asset with the Kodachi, allowing quick slashes and delivering potent upward strikes with the Odachi. Complementing these, skills like “Road to Ruin,” “Soaring Dragon,” and “Ascension” maximize the potential of his dual swords, creating perfect combos for players to master.
Winter Celebration with Sou
To mark Sou’s arrival, Vindictus hosts the “Sou Celebratory Package” event, offering players a chance to don formal wedding attire and obtain special level-up boxes.
These boxes, available to new characters and those below level 30 until February 27, 2024, accelerate player progression with valuable items like AP Capsules and Premium Armor Fusion Runes.
Until March 26, 2024, players will enjoy extra experience, ability points, enhanced Expertise Proficiency, and faster Crafting Speed. Weekends and holidays bring an extra incentive for players engaging in boss battles – an additional Evil Core.
Players participating in specific battles will also receive a Golden Time Coupon, granting access to an exclusive Exchange Shop for various items and Bonus Coins.
