NEXON has announced exciting updates about its highly anticipated action RPG, The First Berserker: Khazan. Set within the Dungeon & Fighter universe, this hardcore action RPG is slated for a 2025 release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.
The First Berserker: Khazan follows the story of Khazan, a fallen hero seeking revenge and redemption. Once a celebrated general of the Pell Los Empire, Khazan was betrayed by the emperor and exiled after being falsely accused of treason. The game is set in a world reminiscent of medieval Europe, where Khazan embarks on a quest to reclaim his honor and seek vengeance against those who wronged him.
First Look at The First Berserker: Khazan Gameplay
NEXON recently released the first 15 minutes of gameplay, offering a glimpse into the brutal world of The First Berserker: Khazan. The game begins with Khazan, bloodied and on the brink of death, in a snowy landscape. However, a mysterious force revives him just in time to fend off a wave of enemies.
The combat is intense, featuring Souls-lite elements with Khazan blocking, deflecting, and dodging attacks. Players will also encounter bonfire-like locations to rest and can unleash heavy attacks to break opponents’ guards.
In addition to the gameplay, NEXON shared a behind-the-scenes video discussing the game’s story. Khazan’s journey is one of survival as he battles imperial forces, recalls forgotten battle skills, and navigates conspiracies aimed at his demise. The game promises a gripping storyline, with Khazan facing off against formidable foes, including a demonic yeti-like monster in the gameplay’s dramatic cliffhanger.
A Global Launch
Set for a worldwide release in 2025, The First Berserker: Khazan will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC via Steam. Fans of action RPGs can look forward to diving into the Dungeon & Fighter universe with this epic new entry.
