Get ready, Trainers, Pokémon GO Wild Area is back! November brings the cheeky Impidimp, wild encounters with Strong Pokémon, the exclusive GO Safari Ball, adventures across Nagasaki, and a massive Global event that everyone can join.
Niantic confirmed that Impidimp, the mischievous Dark/Fairy-type from Generation VIII, will make its long-awaited debut. Trainers can evolve it into Morgrem and Grimmsnarl, with shiny versions available for the first time. The arrival of this family adds depth to team strategies and creates excitement across the community.
From November 7–9, Pokémon GO Wild Area: Nagasaki will transform the city into a real-world adventure. Ticket holders can explore local landmarks while encountering shiny Unown (W), Hatenna, and exclusive spawns. Time-limited events, called Dark Hour and Fairy Hour, will flood the city with themed Pokémon.
In raids, Trainers will battle Shadow Cresselia and, for the first time, Shadow Darkrai. Alongside these battles, Strong Pokémon will appear in the wild, and the GO Safari Ball will help improve capture odds against these formidable spawns.
Global Event Access
From November 15 to 16, Niantic will host the Global event, open to all Trainers worldwide. Free participation includes Raid Passes, a raised particle collection cap, and surprise GO Snapshot encounters.
Ticket holders will receive more perks, higher shiny encounter rates, bonus Candy, reduced egg hatch distances, and exclusive items such as the Flower Crown avatar accessory. The GO Safari Ball and Strong Pokémon will feature prominently during the weekend, ensuring global players enjoy the same thrill as those in Nagasaki.

Niantic’s design makes this edition of Pokémon GO Wild Area more inclusive than ever, ensuring that the debut of Impidimp, the challenge of Strong Pokémon, and the use of the GO Safari Ball become highlights for both local and global fans.
