The game has come a long way since its release. Developers have added new content, features, and regular special events to attract players. A year can change things and Pokemon Masters is the perfect example of it.
On the first anniversary of this game, DeNA is rebranding the game, bringing in updates, adding new modes, and more. Today we’ll cover what will be in the store for players on the first anniversary of this Pokemon game.
Pokemon Masters Rebranding
First things, first! On the brand new update of Pokemon Masters apk & iOS, the game will be rebranded. DeNA, the team behind this game has taken a bold move to change the name of the game.
The update will change the game’s name to Pokemon Masters EX. We think that two letters can make a huge difference. Ok, jokes aside the developers haven’t highlighted the reason behind changing the game’s name. But adding “EX” is so evident in the world of Pokemon.
Basically, “EX” means extra in the Pokemon universe. In the update, EX refers to the addition of six-star Sync Pairs that allow players to upgrade and strengthen their pokemon to a whole new power level.

Sygna Suit Cynthia & Kommo-o
Spotlight Scout will get a new sync pair of dragon-type Sygna Suit Cynthia & Kommo-o. Players can wear the special Sygna suit in the battles on the island of Pasio. Sync pair of Cynthia & Kommo-o use moves like Eyes on the Prize to raise the critical-hit rate and decrease the sync move countdown along with clanging scales.

Champion Stadium Mode – Pokemon Masters APK & iOS
August 27, the release date of this game’s update signals another significant feature. The “Champion Stadium” mode will allow players to face off against the champion of different regions and Elite Four.
The event’s first challenge will use trainers from Kanto Region like Lorelei, Bruno, Agatha, Lance, and Blue. A player needs to assemble 15 sync pairs to fight five on & on three vs three battles. Be ready to take on the world!
Legendary Event – New World Dilemma
Counting down to the first anniversary of DeNA’s Pokemon game, a legendary event, “New World Dilemma” will be available till September 2. This event will allow players to unlock Team Galactic Boss Cyrus and Palkia.
