It has created some of the best consoles of this generation, including Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Wii, Game Boy, Nintendo Entertainment System, and more. 

Nintendo remains one of the leading video game producing companies in the world. Down the memory lane, the brand has created multiple influential games from different genres or franchises that will hit the nostalgia. Starting from the games like Mario to The Legends of Zelda, Nintendo has been the creator of such remarkable game series.

The action-adventure game from 2017 is a part of the Legend of Zelda franchise. The open-ended gameplay and minute detailing made it stand out from the rest. The game is set in an open world, where they can explore freely. The players need to explore the kingdom of Hyrule, as the protagonist, Link. 

While playing the game, players will come through different hurdles and challenges, where they need to find out a solution and face them. From puzzles to battles against robotic opponents, the game has it all.

In Breath of the Wild, the player also needs to hunt for food and cook them to increase their stamina and health. It will also have challenges where the player needs to defeat the enemies without weapons. The game will take the players with an exciting rollercoaster ride of adventure.

4) Super Mario 3D All-Stars

After Super Mario 64 (1996), Super Mario Sunshine (2002), and Super Mario Galaxy (2007), Super Mario 3D All-Stars arrived in 2020. It was a compilation of platform games that dropped on September 18, 2020, and was available till March 31, 2021. 

The Super Mario 3D All-Stars received a lot of good reviews and sold over 9 million copies worldwide. It had high definition 3D ports of the three games from the Super Mario series: Super Mario 64 (1996), Super Mario Sunshine (2002), and Super Mario Galaxy (2007).

3) The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is another action-adventure game from the Legend of Zelda series. It is a spiritual successor of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. The game was released in 2013.

The game has stereoscopic 3D polygonal graphics with a top-down perspective. Players can play the game as a young boy named Link. He has to rescue the Seven Sages and defeat Yuga, the game’s main antagonist. 

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds takes place in two kingdoms—Hyrule and Lorule. It has similar gameplay as the previous titles of the series, where the players need to solve puzzles and clean dungeons.

2) Fire Emblem: Awakening

The tactical role-playing game Fire Emblem: Awakening was released in April 2012, in Japan and 2013 globally. The game belongs to another popular series of Fire Emblem by Nintendo. A customizable Tactician Avatar can be customized, starting from Avatar’s gender, hair color, feature types, voice, and more. The game can be played in two modes – Casual Mode and Classic Mode. 

In Classic Mode, when the character is defeated in battle, they are called dead and can’t be used for the rest of the game. Whereas, in Casual Mode, players can disable permanent character deaths and restore them after the completion of the battle. The players need to go through various difficulty levels in the game to travel across a world map and battle against other characters.

1) The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

The 1998 game action-adventure from Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda series remains one of the best. It was the fifth game from the series, with the first 3D graphics. The game takes the players in an expansive environment, where they become the protagonist, Link. 

Players get a third-person perspective in a three-dimensional world. They gain new powers by collecting items and weapons from dungeons or in the overworld. Players get to meet both young and adult Link. A sword turns Link seven years older, who can use the Fairy Bow. Moreover, there will be multiple challenges in the game that the players need to complete.
